Hey Kitty Kitty is an online boutique dedicated to bringing you the most awesome cat-themed items, as well as fun products for your feline friend. Although we carry a variety of products, we strive to keep an inventory that is comprised mainly of goods made by independent artists. 

Hey Kitty Kitty was created to fill a void in the online marketplace, that being a cool shop geared towards younger, more modern cat lovers. There are plenty of other cat-themed shops out there, but they tend to scream kitsch and crazy cat lady. And while there's nothing wrong with those things, these shops just seem to be lacking in really cool, hip items that many people are looking for these days. And unlike most of these other stores, we put our focus on supporting independent artists and crafters. 

Who We Are

There's actually no "we"—the store is run singlehandedly by its creator, Megan, who feels silly referring to herself as "we" and "us" all the time. She also feels a little silly referring to herself in the third person, so let's quit that, shall we?

As mentioned above, I created Hey Kitty Kitty because there didn't really seem to be anything out there quite like it. But instead of buying from big companies and factories, I wanted to keep my focus on independent artists and crafters. I myself am an independent artist, so I know how much love, hard work, and dedication goes into handmade goods. This doesn't mean the store will only carry items by independent artists (because there are definitely some cool gadgets out there I'd love to offer!), but it will always be my primary focus.

If you're actually wanting to know about me, well, I live in the Nashville area with my boyfriend and our four five cats (Kudzu, Juniper, Palpatine, Persephone, and Creamsicle). When I'm not working my day job (alas, I do still have one of those), I can be found, well, working on other things: the store, my cat blog modcatlove, or my own crafts. I'm also a bit of a nerd and enjoy costuming, reading, and web development.
